New-to-You Sale!
On Saturday, June 2nd from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Allendale Columbia School (519 Allens Creek Rd.), the Animal Hospital of Pittsford is hosting a garage sale to benefit Rochester Hope for Pets. We'll have all kinds of items on sale, from books and clothing to toys and more! All proceeds benefit Rochester Hope for Pets.
We will take donations of gently used goods for the sale. If you have items to donate, please email marketingmva@yahoo.com or call (585) 271-2733 ext 13 for information on donating items. Please note that we cannot accept the following: broken appliances, bathroom fixtures (toilets, etc.), doors, furniture in disrepair, magazines, old encyclopedias, paint, swing sets, tires, water beds, water heaters or windows.
4th Annual Rochester Hope for Pets Dog Walk-A-Thon
Come walk your tail off for HOPE! This year's dog walk is Saturday, June 16th at Ellison Park (Blossom Road entrance, Orchard Grove Shelter). Participants raise money for Rochester Hope for Pets by collecting donations before the event. On event day, registration begins at 9 a.m. and the walk itself is at 10 a.m.
We are excited to share that Laura Moretz will perform two shows (9 and 11 a.m.) with her incredible team of dogs, representing the Purina Incredible Dog Team, which has four trainers and more than 15 outstanding dogs. The Purina® Incredible Dog Team demonstrates Purina's passion for pets by delighting crowds across the country with amazing freestyle flying disc routines. These dogs are not only incredible, but also in excellent physical condition, whether they're puppies, adults or seniors.You can learn more on their Facebook page.
Numerous local vendors will also be present. It is going to be a great day of fun for dog lovers!
For Walkers:
If you are interested in walking, please print, complete and return the registration form below. Please use our donation form to keep track of the donations you collect so that we can send tax receipts to your donors. Finally, please print, sign and bring the liability waiver to the event as well.
For Attendees:
Even if you aren't walking with us, we encourage you to come watch one of the Purina Incredible Dog Team's shows! We are requesting a suggested donation of $2 per person or $5 per family for those who are not walking in the event. This will go directly to help local pets and pet owners in need!

Hope Chain at Greece Animal Hospital
Greece Animal Hospital recently began a paper Hope chain, which has a special purpose! Donors can purchase chain links, write encouraging messages on them to pet owners with pets who are ill, and then add them to the chain. Parts of the chain will be given to recipients of Hope awards at Greece Animal Hospital to provide them comfort as their pet recovers. Fabric Organizers Selling at Cats & Critters
Handmade fabric organizers they are available at Cats & Critters. They are perfect for holding crayons, markers, pens, etc. The cost is $5 each, and all proceeds benefit Rochester Hope for Pets. Stop by Cats & Critters at 23 Somerton Street in Rochester and purchase yours today.

Reusable shopping bags are available for purchase for $5 each at all MVA Hospitals. Support a great local cause and help to save the environment at the same time!

Past Rochester Hope for Pets Events
Bowling Tournament 2012
Five teams participated in the first Rochester Hope for Pets Bowling Tournament held Saturday, March 10 at Clover Lanes in Pittsford. Participating teams came from the Animal Hospital of Pittsford, Monroe Veterinary Associates Administration, Fairview Veterinary Hospital, Suburban Animal Hospital and Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Service. All tournament proceeds benefited Rochester Hope for Pets, and participants enjoyed pizza and soda, in addition to two hours of bowling. Fairview Veterinary Hospital won the tournament by having the highest average score. Thank you to all who joined the fun!
Hope's Winter Bazaar (Dec. 10th 2011)
Hope's Winter Bazaar (hosted by Veterinary Specialists and Animal Emergency Service) was held on Saturday, December 10 at Carmen Clark Lodge in Brighton Town Park. There was a rummage sale, crafts for sale, a silent auction and carolers. Even Santa and his elf were there! All proceeds benefited Rochester Hope for Pets. A wonderful time was had by all. Thank you for your support of this great event!
The 4th Annual MVA Hope Foundation/Rochester Hope for Pets Golf Tournament
The Tournament was held on Sunday, September 18 at Victor Hills Golf Club. It was a beautiful day for golf and there were more than 100 participants. We raised over $10,000 for the Hope Foundation! Thank you to all of our sponsors, golfers and volunteers for helping make this event a huge success!
